Bhutan Festival Tour

Duration: One week

A Tsechu is an annual religious festival celebrated in Bhutan to honor Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), the 8th-century Buddhist master credited with introducing Buddhism to the region. The festival’s main purpose is to convey moral lessons, help people purify negative karma, and bring spiritual blessings to the community.

At the festival, both monks and community performers bring sacred narratives to life through a series of spiritual dances, ritual music, and symbolic choreography deeply rooted in Vajrayana Buddhist tradition.
